The High Resolution Layers for Tree Cover & Forests, Grasslands, and Croplands is a collection of vegetated land cover products from the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS). The products cover the EEA-38+UK set of countries with annual status updates, change monitoring, and provides specialised parameters describing the land cover dynamics such as the Grassland Mowing Events and the Cropping Patterns. The products are designed to be used by researchers, policymakers, farmers, or anyone else who stands to benefit from monitoring the state of vegetation in Europe. Key application areas range from implementation or monitoring of various European Union (EU) policies such as the Habitats Directive, the Common Agriculture Policy, Nature Restoration Law, or EU Forest Strategy for 2030, to name a few.
